This joint effort is part of Helene's upcoming children's album titled "Die schönsten Kinderlieder (Tanzen & Feiern)", scheduled for release on September 12, 2025.
In the vibrant and animated music video, Otto takes on various roles, including baby, grandma, and grandpa, while Helene pushes a cartoon baby stroller. The video is set in an underwater world, showcasing the duo's humour and musical versatility.
The album, "Die schönsten Kinderlieder (Tanzen & Feiern)", will contain a total of 25 songs, making it the second instalment in Helene's "Die schöne Kinderlieder" series. Universal Music describes the album as the "perfect soundtrack for joyful occasions and lively parties".
Helene expressed her excitement about singing many beautiful children's songs in the new album, and this time, Otto Waalkes is joining in. Universal also quotes Otto as saying that even sharks start small, as proven by their collaboration on "Baby Shark".
Universal mentions that sharks have major image problems, especially since Steven Spielberg's 'Jaws', and are often seen as dangerous. However, this collaboration aims to change that perception, presenting sharks in a playful and fun light.
The album will be available for pre-order and will be released on September 12 in various formats. Helene is currently working on a new Instagram story about her music video shoot for the second album in her "Die schöne Kinderlieder" series, titled "Tanzen & Feiern".
