Heidekreis Towns Gear Up for Bundestag Election with Election Helpers Secured

With 31 days remaining until the German Bundestag election, several towns in Heidekreis are gearing up for the polls. Schneverdingen requires 160 election helpers, while Bispingen needs 50, with 90% already confirmed. Meanwhile, the postal vote will be handled by 32 stations with around 165 helpers, with 135 confirmations so far.

Soltau is seeking 150 helpers for its 15 polling stations, with a remarkable 300 confirmations received. Wietzendorf, needing just 24 helpers for one station, has already secured 22 confirmations. Neuenkirchen requires 70 helpers for 10 stations, all positions filled with 40 confirmations. Munster needs 96 helpers for its 12 stations and has received 90 confirmations. Notably, the city of Xanten is still actively recruiting election volunteers for their 2025 municipal elections, indicating a current shortage despite confirming 90% of needed helpers.

As the election date approaches, most towns in Heidekreis have made significant progress in securing election helpers. However, Xanten's ongoing recruitment efforts highlight the need for more volunteers in some areas. With 31 days left, preparations are underway to ensure a smooth voting process.
