The much-anticipated 30th Bergisch Classics is set to take place from August 15 at the Hebborner Hof in Bergisch Gladbach. This two-weekend event, spanning from August 15-17 for dressage and August 21-24 for show jumping, promises an exciting spectacle for equestrian enthusiasts.

The Reiterverein Hebborner Hof, the hosts of the event, have been actively involved in social work, sponsoring a therapy horse and helping flood victims with donations. The club, under the leadership of Chairman Matthias Beggerow, emphasizes the importance of volunteers and sponsors in making the event possible.

The "Großer Preis von Bergisch Gladbach" has a rich history, with past winners including Olympians, Nations Cup riders, German and Rhineland champions like Felix Schneider, Thomas Kuck, Kathrin Müller, Taizo Sugitani, Hendrik Dowe, and many more. This year, Heiner Schiergen will defend his title in the dressage arena.

The event is not just about competition, but also about promoting youth, creating cohesion, and giving the equestrian sport a stage. Visitors can expect a variety of competitions, ranging from E for beginners to S in the highest performance class.

A highlight of the evening program is the show nights under floodlights, which have proven to be a crowd-puller in the past. The event attracts up to 7,000 spectators, making it one of the largest in the Rhineland.

This year, the Hebborner Hof will present a quadrille with six proud Friesians and Emilia Schlotterbeck's liberty dressage of her "Dancing Horses". Para-equestrians will also compete, including silver and bronze Olympic winner Regine Mispelkamp, who recently prepared for her participation in the Summer Games in Paris in the arena of the Bergisch Classics.

The Bergisch Classics also serves as a social event, with representatives from sports, politics, and business meeting and exchanging ideas. For more visitor questions and answers, visit www.rv-hebbornerhof.de.

The event's mission extends beyond the arena, with the RV Hebborner Hof having supported the Reittherapeutisches Zentrum Meierhof in Kürten for many years.

The 30th Bergisch Classics promises to be an unforgettable event, combining competition, social interaction, and a focus on important topics such as inclusion, networking, and charity. Don't miss out on the action!

Sports enthusiasts should mark their calendars for the equestrian competitions at the Bergisch Classics, including the Großer Preis von Bergisch Gladbach with its history of Olympic and championship winners. Visitors can also enjoy Show nights under floodlights, a popular feature of the event, as well as attending the social gathering of sports, politics, and business representatives.
