These warnings, primarily impacting regions in North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Hesse, and Bavaria, have been withdrawn as per a DWD spokesperson’s overnight statement. Yet, Lower Saxony continues to carry warnings for powerful thunderstorms, rated at level 2 on the DWD scale. Heavier thunderstorms, with a rating of level 3, have been put aside for the time being.

While there are currently no active warnings for strong thunderstorms in Lower Saxony, the region’s weather can be quite changeable. For instance, Cuxhaven is known for its cool and windy June climate with a humid atmosphere[1]. Hannover is experiencing patchy rain with a real-time temperature of 22 °C (72 °F) and humidity at 53%[3]. Nordhorn, meanwhile, is under sunny skies, with temperatures projected to reach as high as 69 °F (21 °C) during the day, only to dip to 40 °F (4 °C) at night, with no precipitation on the horizon[4].
