The weather forecast from the Ob-Irtysh Hydrometeorological Service predicts various levels of precipitation along with moderate winds for Omsk and the surrounding region. The forecast will be updated on Monday, May 5, 2025.
According to meteorologists, from May 5 to 8, warm air from the west and southwest will blow into the Omsk region.
"The influence of advancing frontal systems will help maintain a contrasting temperature profile and contribute to rainfall," the service noted.
Temperatures are expected to drop to around 4°C to 9°C (39°F to 48°F) overnight on Tuesday, May 6, rising to 21°C to 26°C (70°F to 79°F) during the day, and reaching 16°C to 21°C (61°F to 70°F) in the northeast.
On Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8, temperatures are expected to dip to 8°C to 13°C (46°F to 55°F) at night, rising to 23°C to 28°C (73°F to 82°F) during the day, and up to 17°C to 22°C (63°F to 72°F) in the north.
The service noted that rain will hit by Victory Day: from May 9 to 10, a southern cyclone is expected to affect the weather conditions, bringing rain and thunderstorms, possible hail, and strong wind gusts during thunderstorms. On May 9, temperatures in the region are expected to reach 24°C to 29°C (75°F to 84°F), with 17°C to 22°C (63°F to 72°F) in the north.
By Friday, May 10, temperatures are expected to drop to 18°C to 23°C (64°F to 73°F), with 13°C to 18°C (56°F to 64°F) in the north, according to the specialists.
