Heavy Rain Causes Bridge Collapse and School Flooding in Moladavanko and Olginka
Heavy rainfall in Moladavanko and Olginka has caused significant damage, with a bridge washed away and a school courtyard flooded. The local public works department is addressing these issues while students are temporarily without classes.
In Moladavanko, a temporary bridge across the Shaapsukho River has been destroyed by heavy rain. This is the second time this year the bridge has been washed away, having been previously rebuilt after a similar incident in August. Not only has the temporary bridge been lost, but a wooden bridge over the same river has also been damaged. In response, the 'Kuban-SPA' rescue team has set up an aerial ropeway to aid Moladavanko residents.
Repairs are currently underway to restore the bridge. Workers are focusing on adding soil to make it safe for both pedestrians and drivers. Meanwhile, in Olginka's School No. 19, while the building itself was unaffected, the courtyard was flooded by heavy rain. As a result, classes have been canceled for today.
The local public works department is working diligently to repair the bridge in Moladavanko, ensuring safety for residents. In Olginka, students of School No. 19 are temporarily without classes due to flooding, with the courtyard expected to be cleared soon.
