Heavy Metal legends Iron Maiden will perform in Hannover exclusively in 2026 - a sole concert event.
Iron Maiden, the iconic British heavy metal band, has announced a series of European tour dates for next year as part of their world tour titled "Run For Your Lives". The tour is set to begin on May 23rd, 2026, in Athens, Greece, and will conclude with a tour break in 2027.
The band has already had a successful run this year, performing in Germany at the Arena in Gelsenkirchen. Their upcoming European tour will include stops in several cities, including Sofia (Bulgaria), Bucharest (Romania), Bratislava (Slovakia), Hannover (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Milan (Italy), Paris and Lyon (France), Lisbon (Portugal), and a yet-to-be-detailed headline show in the UK.
The tour will mark the band's only stadium show in Germany for the coming year, with the performance taking place at the Heinz von Heiden Arena in Hanover on June 2nd, 2026. The band's founder and bassist, Steve Harris, expressed his enthusiasm for the tour, describing the fans as fantastic and the setlist as perfect for the 50th anniversary of the band.
The demand for tickets has been immense, with the tour almost sold out everywhere. The newest member of the band, drummer Simon Dawson, will join the original lineup, with Steve Harris being the only remaining member from the band's inception.
Over a million fans have attended the tour so far, and Iron Maiden's management, led by tour manager Rod Smallwood, has stated that they will visit as many fans as possible in 2026. The band has already visited numerous locations, with the tour being described as one of Iron Maiden's best ever.
Fans can expect an unforgettable night of classic hits and new material when Iron Maiden comes to a city near them next year. Stay tuned for more updates on the "Run For Your Lives" world tour.
