Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden will be performing a single show in Hannover, Germany, in the year 2026.
Iron Maiden, the iconic British heavy metal band, has announced that their upcoming world tour titled "Run For Your Lives" will include a stadium show in Hanover, Germany on June 2, 2026. This concert marks the band's only stadium show in Germany for the coming year.
The tour, which kicks off in Athens, Greece on May 23, 2026, will visit as many locations as possible in 2026 before taking a tour break in 2027. The tour will pass through Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Italy, France, and Portugal, among other countries.
Iron Maiden's lineup has seen a change, with Simon Dawson joining as the newest drummer. Dawson, who previously played with British Lion, replaced Nicko McBrain for live performances around late 2024 or early 2025. The band founder and leader, Steve Harris, has expressed his enthusiasm for the tour, stating that the fans are fantastic, the setlist is perfect for their 50th anniversary, and the show is probably their best ever.
Harris also mentioned that they will play a few more shows in Europe before heading to other parts of the world later in the year. The demand for tickets has been incredible, with the tour selling out almost everywhere and over a million fans attending.
Interestingly, only band founder Steve Harris remains from the original lineup. The concert in Hanover will take place in the Heinz von Heiden Arena. The band has already played in Germany this year, starting in the Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
