Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden set for a singular performance in Hannover, Germany, slated for the year 2026.
Iron Maiden, the legendary heavy metal band, has declared that their global tour, 'Run For Your Lives', will continue in 2026. The tour, which has already sold out nearly everywhere and attracted over a million fans, will see the band performing in various European countries.
The tour will commence on May 23 in Athens, Greece, and will travel to Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Portugal, and Germany, among other places. The German leg of the tour will see Iron Maiden performing at the Heinz von Heiden Arena in Hannover on June 2. This will be their sole stadium show in Germany for the coming year.
Steve Harris, the band founder and leader, expressed his excitement about the tour, stating that the fans are fantastic, the setlist is perfect for their 50th anniversary, the show is probably their best ever, and the demand for tickets was incredible. Harris is the only original member remaining in the current lineup, with the newest member being drummer Simon Dawson.
Rod Smallwood, the band's manager, also shared his thoughts, saying that they will visit as many fans as possible in 2026 before the tour break in 2027. Smallwood mentioned that the performance in Germany this year was at the Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
The tour will not visit any other countries apart from Europe until the tour break in 2027. After the European leg, the tour will continue, but details about the next destinations are not specified. Steve Harris mentioned that they will play a few more shows in Europe before heading to other parts of the world later in the year.
