Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden are set to perform a single show in Hannover, Germany, in 2026.
Iron Maiden, the iconic heavy metal band, has announced their latest world tour titled "Run For Your Lives." The tour is set to commence on May 23, 2026, in Athens, Greece, and will make a stop in Hanover, Germany on June 2, 2026, at the Heinz von Heiden Arena.
This performance marks Iron Maiden's only stadium show in Germany for the coming year, and it's a significant event as it's the band's only concert in the country after their earlier performance in the Arena in Gelsenkirchen this year.
Founder and bassist Steve Harris is the only original member remaining in the band, and he expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour. The newest member of Iron Maiden is drummer Simon Dawson, who joins the band for this tour.
Rod Smallwood, the band's manager, announced some tour dates for 2026, and the tour has already sold out almost everywhere, with over a million fans expected to attend. The tour will pass through Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Italy, France, and Portugal before taking a break in 2027.
Hannover Concerts has also announced that the tour will continue in Hanover, promising an unforgettable experience for the fans. The band plans to play a few more shows in Europe before heading to other parts of the world later in the year.
However, the next Iron Maiden concert in Germany after the show at Heinz von Heiden Arena in Hanover on June 2, 2026, has not been publicly announced yet. The confirmed 2026 European tour dates include mainly festival appearances and some stadiums, but no specific later German date after Hannover is listed as of now.
Smallwood stated that the fans, setlist, show, and ticket demand have been exceptional, promising a thrilling experience for those who manage to secure tickets. The band's performance in Hanover is sure to be a highlight of the tour, offering fans a chance to witness one of the greatest heavy metal bands in history live in concert.
