Heavy Metal dinosaur band Heavysaurus returns with fresh album and live shows.
Heavysaurus, the German dinosaur-themed metal band, has announced plans for their METAL Tour 2026. The tour is set to kick off with a show at Bremen's Modernes venue on December 19, 2026, and will include concert dates across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The band, known for their child-friendly hard rock and metal music, will perform dressed as dinosaurs, offering a fun, energetic show that appeals to families and fans of all ages. The tour is an extension of Heavysaurus’s mission since 2017 to make heavy metal accessible for children and families.
The new album "METAL" will be released on January 30, 2026, and contains 15 tracks, extending their signature dino-metal style. The band's lineup includes Frank Beck as Mr. Heavysaurus, Christof Leim (Riffi Raffi), Mathias Brede (Milli Pilli), Philipp Klinger (Komppi Momppi), and Jürgen Steinmetz (Muffi Puffi). All band members are well-known figures in the German music scene.
Heavysaurus is the world's first dinosaur metal band and is committed to inspiring children for music as an experience, not as a product. They continue to support "Die Arche", an organization for disadvantaged children, by donating one euro from every ticket sold. Half of the donation goes directly to the organization, while the other half supports measures such as concert visits and other special activities.
The METAL Tour 2026 follows the success of the "Pommesgabel Tour" 2024 and 2025, which had over 350 dates. The new live program of HEAVYSAURUS is similar to that of popular bands such as Sabaton, Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Volbeat. However, HEAVYSAURUS stands out with its humorous and attitude-filled performances, making their concerts an unforgettable experience for both children and adults.
