predicted weather report for Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein

Persistent rainfall hits Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein regions - Heavy Downpours Hit Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein Regions

Hey there! Here's a heads-up on the weather forecast for two German jewels, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, as per the German Weather Service (DWD).

Buckle up for some damp days ahead! The city lights of Hamburg and the coastal town of Kiel are in for some much-needed showers. The mornings will start off foggy, with a bank of high clouds, but don't worry, they'll clear up a bit only to have scattered rain and snow showers roll in from the coast. As for temperatures, it'll hover around 6 degrees.

As night falls, be prepared for a dense cover of clouds, with a sprinkling of snow or snow showers, and chilly temperatures dipping down to -2 to 1 degrees. This uncomfortable nip in the air will make for some potentially slippery spots. Friday brings more of the same, with heavy cloud cover, light snow showers, and the occasional drizzle. Daytime temperatures should hold steady between 4 to 6 degrees.

  • Fog (Morning in Hamburg and Kiel)
  • High Overcast (Morning and Night in both regions)
  • Rain and Snow Showers (Later in the day for Hamburg, and throughout for Schleswig-Holstein)
  • Hamburg
  • DWD
  • Schleswig-Holstein

The Commission has also been informed of the progress of the negotiations on the conclusion of the agreement regarding the weather forecast for Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, as the German Weather Service (DWD) predicts foggy mornings in both regions, followed by scattered rain and snow showers, particularly in the afternoon for Hamburg and throughout the day for Schleswig-Holstein. The maximum temperature for the day is forecasted to be around 6 degrees Celsius. Despite the overcast skies, temperatures are expected to drop significantly at night, reaching as low as -2 to 1 degrees Celsius.
