Roofs flailing in Bavaria: Was there a tornado, twister, or some sorta wicked stormie in Bavaria last night?

A furious, windy gal-pal whipped the tiles off the roofs of ten buildings. A local authority spiller-bean shared the news that nearly half the roofs of nine equine abodes in Sonnefeld, in the district of Coburg, were stripped bare. A resident dwelling missed the storm party as well, at least on the roofie-front, on May 28, 2025.

Peep eyes estimated the damage in the Bieberbach properties at approximately €50,000. Tarpaulins did the roofie-clearer act overnight, securing things until the blue savings boxes could be wheeled out for repairs. Thankfully, no one got their peepers plucked by any errant roof tiles.

Alas, the weather merrymakers didn't choke it up to a tornado just yet. A cappella storm expert explained that, although thetenant-of-suspicion in town was a tornado, the existing data ain't justifying yet to wallop that label onto the situation.
