Are Omsk residents ready for another round of cold weather? Sadly, yes! According to the visualization service "Ventusky.com", Omsk and the surrounding region can expect snowfall starting next week, as early as April 9, 2025.
In the early morning of April 9, a heavy snowfall, one might think, will blanket Tiumen, reaching Omsk by noon and covering a significant portion of the Omsk region. The snowfall intensity could reach up to 7.2mm in just three hours, plunging temperatures to around -1°C to -2°C across the region.
However, by evening the same day, the region will experience a warm southerly wind, raising temperatures surprisingly to +12°C in Omsk, although the north will continue to see snow with a freezing rain. Contrastingly, the following day, April 10, temperatures are expected to range from +9°C to +18°C throughout the region.
