In exciting news for fans of real estate flipping competition shows, HGTV has officially confirmed that Season 2 of "The Flip Off" is set to air in 2026. The announcement was made on August 21, 2025, and the decision comes after the show's successful first season, which attracted nearly 14 million viewers across linear and streaming platforms.

The upcoming season will retain the same competition format as the first, with Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa going head-to-head against Christina Haack to find, buy, renovate, and flip houses for the largest profit. Heather Rae El Moussa has hinted at the possibility of a closer collaboration with Christina Haack in future seasons, should the show be renewed.

Tarek and Heather Rae are currently defending their champion status, while Christina aims to "throw out the rule book" to secure a victory. The second season promises an intense rematch, with the same mix of renovation, reality, and personal competition dynamics that made the first season successful.

No exact premiere date has been given yet, but production updates indicate that filming timelines may follow a similar pattern to Season 1, which began in June 2024 and wrapped months later. The core cast—Tarek, Heather Rae, and Christina—are all confirmed to return for Season 2.

Meanwhile, outside of the world of real estate flipping, Heather Rae El Moussa has been actively promoting veganism. She has worked with PETA on various campaigns, including one that encouraged families to switch to vegan cheeses. Her son, Tristan, has also been comfortable on camera, participating in a PETA campaign to promote veganism.

Heather Rae El Moussa started her career in acting, modeling, and real estate before joining HGTV. She considers HGTV as the "home base" for her renovation projects and has expressed interest in hosting new shows and exploring new opportunities.

The drama began in June when HGTV cancelled five shows: Battle on the Beach, Farmhouse Fixer, Married to Real Estate, Bargain Block, and Izzy Does It. Heather Rae El Moussa has revealed that she hasn't received any communication from HGTV regarding the cancellations.

A source has also stated that Christina Haack's series Christina on the Coast has not been renewed. However, this doesn't seem to have affected the production of "The Flip Off".

Despite the cancellations, "The Flip Off" continues to be a popular show on HGTV, with its premiere in January being the highest-rated freshman series among adults since 2022. Fans of the show can look forward to the intense competition between Tarek and Heather Rae, and Christina Haack when Season 2 airs in 2026.
