In response to the prediction of high temperatures, the Direção-Geral de Saúde advises the public to stay well-hydrated, don loose and fresh clothes, and reapply sunscreen every two hours. The IPMA predicts that this Sunday will bring maximum temperatures of 38°C in Beja, 37°C in Faro and Évora, and 35°C in Portalegre and Castelo Branco. For Monday, the highest temperatures in Continental Portugal will potentially occur in Braga, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, and Santarém, with temperatures reaching 38°C, according to the IPMA, although the specific temperatures for June 10 and June 11 remain unclear.
