Heart of England Co-op extends ATM partnership for five more years

Heart of England Co-operative has renewed its long-standing partnership with NCR Atleos for another five years. The deal includes a full upgrade of its 35-site ATM network to improve service and efficiency. Both organisations have worked together since 2015 to provide free cash access across the region.

The extended agreement ensures that Heart of England Co-operative will keep using NCR Atleos' retail network solution. This technology supports high ATM availability and reliable service for customers. The upgrade will also introduce digital-first self-service features, making transactions smoother and more convenient.

Neil Martin, UK Area Managing Director at NCR Atleos, highlighted the company's pride in continuing the partnership. He stressed the importance of maintaining easy cash access for local communities. Meanwhile, Steve Browne, CEO of Heart of England Co-operative, reinforced the co-operative's commitment to financial inclusion and customer satisfaction through free-to-use ATMs.

The renewed contract aligns with the co-operative's strategic goals. It aims to boost footfall in stores while adapting to changing customer demands. By improving operational efficiency, the upgraded network will help meet these evolving needs more effectively.

The five-year extension strengthens the collaboration between the two organisations. The upgraded ATM network will support Heart of England Co-operative's focus on accessibility and service quality. Free cash access remains a key priority for communities across the region.
