Has a second live Oasis track from their reunion tour been secretly unveiled, we wonder?
In a thrilling development for Oasis fans, the iconic British rock band is set to release a special deluxe 30th anniversary edition of their seminal album, "(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?" on August 8, 2025.
This limited-edition release promises a fresh take on five classic tracks, including Cast No Shadow, Morning Glory, Wonderwall, Acquiesce, and Champagne Supernova, all presented in unplugged versions. The album will also feature new artwork, sleevenotes, and several exclusive colored vinyl options themed around specific tracks.
The announcement comes as part of a broader resurgence of Oasis's music, with several of their hits re-entering the charts. Notably, "Don't Look Back In Anger" and "Live Forever" have re-entered the UK Top 20, while the Oasis hits collection, "Time Flies 1994 - 2009," has returned to Number One in the album chart.
This deluxe release marks the second live Oasis track to receive an official release, following "Slide Away" which was recorded on the opening night of the tour in Cardiff. The latest offering, "Cigarettes & Alcohol," was recorded in front of 340,000 fans at Heaton Park in Manchester on 11 July, and features hundreds of thousands of fans providing backing vocals.
Aside from this special edition, the band has announced two more archive releases scheduled for the coming weeks. These releases, however, focus more on merchandise and pop-up experiences rather than new archive music releases.
The 'Complete Studio Album Collection' box set, another eagerly anticipated release, is set to hit the shelves on 22 August. The Oasis charabanc (a type of vehicle) is heading to Wembley for the first of their seven dates at the stadium, starting tomorrow.
