The Harz Mountain Theater has completed its first watch after a lengthy ancestry. Over 85,000 visitors attended events at the open-air venue, which reopened under the leadership of artistic director Ronny Große. The theater hosted a busy schedule of musicals, family shows, and concerts during its debut run.
Across 26 musical performances, 21 family theater productions, and 20 concerts, the venue averaged 1,483 attendees per event. The musical Walpurga drew the largest crowd, with 28,900 visitors, while Beauty and the Beast attracted 10,800. The theater’s total seating capacity of 1,903 allowed for strong attendance figures throughout the season.
