Harry, Prince and Meghan, alongside Netflix, broaden their agreement for streaming media content
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's media company, Archewell Productions, has announced a series of new projects in collaboration with Netflix, set to be released throughout 2025. The partnership, which began in 2020, has already produced a range of thoughtful content across various genres, resonating globally and celebrating the couple's shared vision.
The upcoming slate includes a second season of "With Love, Meghan," a lifestyle and cooking series featuring the Duchess’s interests in cooking, gardening, and hosting. This season is scheduled to air later in August 2025. A special holiday episode, "With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration," will also be released in December.
In addition, Archewell is in production with Netflix on a feature adaptation of Carley Fortune's novel "Meet Me at the Lake." This drama follows a decade-spanning love story and has been in active development since its announcement in 2023.
A documentary short film, "Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within," directed by David Vieira Lopez and Moses Bwayo, is also set to release later in 2025. This film highlights a Ugandan orphanage where children use dance to overcome hardship amid the HIV/AIDS crisis. The production of this film is a collaboration with Campfire Studios and Wontanara Productions.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also extended their deal with Netflix, which is now a first-look deal as of August 2025. This deal continues to focus on diverse storytelling and impactful nonfiction projects, including documentaries and short films.
Meghan Markle has also developed a lifestyle brand, As Ever, in partnership with Netflix. The extended deal between Archewell Productions and Netflix will help expand the brand through new products throughout the year.
The Netflix culinary show produced by Archewell Productions has been a significant success, with 5.3 million views, according to Netflix's semiannual report. This makes it the most-watched show since its March release.
It's worth noting that Prince Harry and Meghan previously signed a multiyear deal with Spotify in 2020 and produced a podcast, Archetypes, but cut ties with the company in 2023.
The couple, who are living in California with their two young children, detangled from the British royal family, continue to make waves in the entertainment industry with their collaborations. Meghan Markle made a statement expressing her inspiration from their partners and the Archewell Productions team.
The partnership between Prince Harry, Meghan, and Netflix has resulted in a series of impactful and engaging projects, with more on the horizon.
