Harry and Meghan persist in collaborating with Netflix for future projects

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, through their production company Archewell Productions, have extended their creative partnership with streaming giant Netflix. This multi-year, first-look deal, which follows their original comprehensive output deal from 2020, gives Netflix the first option to pick up their projects, although Archewell can shop them elsewhere if Netflix passes.

Key upcoming and confirmed Archewell projects include the second season of "With Love, Meghan", Meghan Markle's culinary and lifestyle show. This popular Netflix series will also receive a holiday special this year. Another project in the pipeline is a film adaptation of "Meet Me at the Lake", a romance novel by Carley Fortune. Specific production details are yet to be announced.

Previous Netflix releases by Archewell Productions have been well-received, with the Harry & Meghan docuseries, Heart of Invictus, and Live to Lead being notable examples. The Harry & Meghan series, in particular, garnered over 23 million views on Netflix.

Regarding a documentary about orphaned children in Uganda, no recent official updates are available. It is possible that this project is in earlier development phases not yet publicly disclosed or reported.

In addition to film and TV, the deal also involves the As Ever brand - Meghan’s lifestyle venture launched in partnership with Netflix earlier in 2025 - which will be part of their expanded collaboration. Netflix executives have praised the Sussexes for their storytelling appeal and global audience reach.

The relations between Meghan, Harry, and the royals remain strained following various allegations. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children, Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3), currently reside in the US. King Charles III, Meghan and Harry's father, is the current monarch of the UK.

This extended partnership was announced on Netflix's official website, marking another step in the Sussexes' journey in the entertainment industry.
