FC Hansa Rostock has extended the contracts of head coach Daniel Brinkmann and sporting director Amir Shapourzadeh. The club announced the decision on November 23, 2025, signaling its trust in the current leadership. Both men have spoken openly about their strong bond with the team.

Brinkmann became head coach in early November 2024, replacing Bernd Hollerbach after his dismissal. Under his guidance, Hansa made a late push in the previous season, narrowly missing out on a promotion playoff place.

The contract extensions reflect the club’s confidence in its current path. With Brinkmann and Shapourzadeh at the helm, Hansa Rostock aims to build on recent improvements. The team now sits seventh in the league after a strong run of form.
