Hanau's After-Work Market Launches with Food, Jewelry and Live Entertainment
Hanau's open-air season kicks off with a week-long after-work market from March 25 to March 31. The event series features food, music, and specialty markets, including the 13th edition of the Hanau Jewelry Fair, 'Glanzstücke'. Local sponsors such as Sparkasse Hanau and Hanau Municipal Utilities are backing the programme.
The after-work market runs daily from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. around the Walloon-Dutch Church. Visitors can enjoy gourmet food, live performances, and a variety of stalls. Alongside the market, the week includes info fairs, lectures, cabaret shows, bingo, and musical acts.
The highlight of the week is the Hanau Jewelry Fair, taking place on March 28 and 29 at Neustadt Town Hall on Marktplatz. Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the fair will showcase work from 17 professional designers. The Hanau Jewelry Prize will be awarded on Saturday at 6 p.m. during the event. Further details, including a full schedule and ticket information, are available on the city's event calendar at www.hanau.de.
The week-long series offers a mix of entertainment, shopping, and cultural events. Organisers have provided online resources for registration and event planning. The programme runs until March 31, with daily activities for visitors.
