Lewis Hamilton Sells Car Collection, Expresses Interest in Ferrari F40

British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion and holder of 105 wins, has sold his car collection, which included limited edition Ferraris, Mercedes, and McLarens. The value of the collection was in the millions.

In 2020, Hamilton was driving an electric Mercedes EQC. However, he has since switched to hybrid or electric models for his remaining cars. This shift aligns with Hamilton's commitment to sustainability, as he is a vegan and has been vocal about environmental issues.

One car that Hamilton has expressed a keen interest in buying again is the Ferrari F40. He views the F40 as a piece of art, and in 2019, he was photographed standing next to one at Ferrari's Fiorano test track. The current owner of the specific Ferrari F40 Hamilton referred to is not explicitly named in the available search results.

Hamilton's car collection sale also included his private jet. As of now, he no longer owns any cars.

Apart from his passion for racing, Hamilton has expressed interest in art. He has sold some of his car collection in 2019, suggesting that he may be focusing more on other artistic pursuits.

Currently, Hamilton is participating in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. At 40 years old, he shows no signs of slowing down, both on and off the track.
