Rock and Pop 2026 - Stadium and Arena Concerts in Hamburg - Hamburg’s 2026 live music explosion: From Barclays Arena to Volksparkstadion

Hamburg’s live music scene is set for a busy year with major acts performing across the city. Venues from the Barclays Arena to the Volksparkstadion will host concerts throughout 2026, covering rock, pop, and electronic genres.

The Barclays Arena will welcome a diverse lineup, including Bushido and Xavier Naidoo, Deftones, Herbert Grönemeyer, and Tokio Hotel. Other confirmed acts are Apache 207, Sarah Connor, Clueso, Bosse, Schiller, Zucchero, Westlife, Bap, and Pur.

At the Elbphilharmonie, Michael Schulte will perform on April 18 as part of his Gentle Sounds, Special Places tour. Earlier in the year, Die Prinzen will take the stage on January 15 in the Großer Saal. Later, the project Dämmerland—featuring Malte Hoyer, Hannes Braun, Annie Hurdy Gurdy, and Stephan Benson—will appear at the Laeiszhalle on October 30.

The Stadtpark Open-Air series kicks off on May 16 with Lotto King Karl. Madsen follows on June 5, then Foreigner on June 9, Garbage on June 11, and ZZ Top on July 2. Nena performs on July 10, Counting Crows on July 14, and Seal closes the series on July 24.

The Trabrennbahn’s summer programme includes AnnenMayKantereit, Nina Chuba, Bunt, Die Toten Hosen, Montez, and Kraftklub. Meanwhile, the Volksparkstadion will host Linkin Park on June 3, Johannes Oerding on June 20, and Helene Fischer on July 3 and 4. Goldkehlchen wraps up the stadium’s season on September 26.

Hamburg’s venues will offer concerts year-round, catering to a wide range of musical tastes. Tickets for these events are expected to be in high demand, with performances spread across arenas, open-air stages, and cultural halls.
