Halloween is big business in Rhineland-Palatinate. The Retail Association of the Middle Rhine predicts sales of around 26 million euros this year, with the holiday's influence now felt year-round in retail, from decorations to food.

Halloween's impact on retail has grown significantly. Last year, sales in the sector surged by eleven percent compared to 2023. This year, the Retail Association anticipates a further boost of around one million euros. The holiday has become a crucial sales factor, permeating various retail areas, including clothing and food, not just decorations.

Retailers in Rhineland-Palatinate are taking note. The Halloween business is increasingly important for local shops, contributing substantially to their annual turnover.

The Retail Association of the Middle Rhine expects Halloween sales in Rhineland-Palatinate to reach approximately 26 million euros this year. With sales growing each year, retailers are embracing the holiday as a significant sales driver throughout the year.
