Magical Light Worlds in Halle Zoo End - Halle's Fantasy Island light exhibition prepares for final glow after 80 dazzling days

Bergzoo Halle's popular light exhibition, Fantasy Island, will close its doors after 80 days of operation. The event, which first opened in 2018, has drawn crowds since its launch in late autumn. Visitors have explored a two-kilometre trail filled with glowing sculptures and immersive displays.

The exhibition features roughly 1,000 illuminated figures spread across five hectares of zoo grounds. Each sculpture is crafted from metal frames wrapped in fabric, creating vibrant and intricate designs.

The event will run until the first day of meteorological spring. Once the exhibition ends, crews will begin dismantling the light displays. Organisers have not released visitor numbers for the previous season, but attendance remains strong year after year.

The closure marks the end of another successful run for the Magical Light Worlds exhibition. The zoo will now prepare for its next seasonal attractions. Visitors still have a short window to experience the glowing trail before it disappears for the year.
