Halle Hosts Free Premiere of TREFFPUNKT BRUNNEN This April

A new musical will premiere in Halle this April as part of a nationwide tour. TREFFPUNKT BRUNNEN, a contemporary take on the biblical encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman, will be performed by the Adonia Teens Choir and a live band. The event is free to attend, with donations accepted to support the project. The performance takes place at St. George's Church on Glauchaer Platz at 7:30 PM on Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2026. Directed by Christlieb Stuwe, the Halle-based organiser, the show features 12 original songs composed by the Adonia team. A group of 70 young participants, aged 12 to 19, prepared for the event during a four-day rehearsal camp.

Halle is just one stop on a larger 2026 tour involving 50 Adonia project choirs. Over 200 venues across Germany will host performances, including dates in Celle (March 27), Meinersen (March 25), Bremervörde (March 28), and Oberharmersbach (April 8). The initiative, run by the nonprofit Adonia e.V. in Karlsruhe, engages around 5,000 children and teenagers annually. Adonia e.V. focuses on Christian youth work, blending music and storytelling. The organisation encourages voluntary contributions to help fund events like *TREFFPUNKT BRUNNEN*, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.

The musical's premiere in Halle marks the start of a busy tour schedule. With performances in multiple cities, the project aims to reach young audiences through music and faith-based narratives. Free admission and open donations keep the events inclusive for participants and spectators alike.
