At the KPMG Women's Irish Open, Hall spoke about her partner, Paul Dunne, who is currently her caddie on tour. Hall described Dunne as a great player and the best chipper she has ever seen in her life.
Dunne, a former DP World Tour winner, made waves in 2015 when he held the joint-lead at the Open Championship at St Andrews while still an amateur. He cemented his status as a formidable player in 2017 when he edged out Rory McIlroy by three-shots to win the British Masters.
Hall often seeks Dunne's advice on her chip shots, and the pair share a positive dynamic, with no reported arguments affecting their relationship. This harmonious partnership seems to have strengthened since Hall announced their engagement via Instagram.
The length of their relationship is unconfirmed, but it is less than two years given that Hall was in a relationship with Ryann O'Toole two years ago. Despite the recent engagement, the relationship between Hall and Dunne has not strained their professional relationship, but rather seems to have improved it.
Hall remains hopeful that her performances on the LPGA Tour will also improve with her engagement. Her fiancée, it should be noted, is not Paul Dunne as previously mentioned, but Lucy Li.
