Haliburton, Pacers Star, Offers Rough Remark to Cavaliers Following Game-Winning Shot
Lemme Spill the (NBA) Tea:
Indy's on a roll, and Cleveland's choking in this year's playoffs. The Pacers are sweeping teams left and right, and they've got the top-seeded Cavs now in their crosshairs.
Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers' star, is leading the charge, proving that he ain't the overrated player some people think he is. He made fools of the Bucks a week ago, pulling off a 4th-quarter comeback that led to an overtime win in Game 5, and he ain't stopping there.
Game 2 against the Cavaliers was tense. The Cavs had the lead, 119-116, with just 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter. But Haliburton, the confident little shit, intentionally missed a crucial free-throw, recovered the rebound, and sank a go-ahead three-pointer to secure a one-point victory for the Pacers, 120-119.
Cleveland fans can't believe it. They're shocked and disgusted, spittin' mad about Haliburton's antics. Haliburton celebrated his winning shot by holding up imaginary balls with his hands, taunting the Cavs.
Looks like Cleveland's in deep shit, and the Pacers are loving every minute of it. With a 2-0 lead in the series, history's on the Pacers' side. Teams that get a 2-0 lead in a best-of-seven series typically advance to the next round 92 to 93 percent of the time.
Game 3 is on May 10, and if the Pacers pull off another win, it's gonna be game over for Cleveland. So, Cavs fans, good luck with that.
P.S. A couple of months ago, some folks voted Haliburton as the most overrated player in the NBA. But it looks like they were wrong. The kid's got game, and he's proving 'em wrong every day. So, oh well, haters gonna hate.
