Fashion designer Harald Glöckler is garnering attention not just for his timeless designs but also for his controversial behavior during the reality show "My Style Rocks." With social media buzzing with his viral moments, the designer turns 60 today.

Glöckler has been a fixture in the public eye for years, known for his flamboyant style and unique persona. From his jet-black beard and opulent clothing to his eye-catching jewelry and glitter, he has unmistakable trademarks.

Reflecting on his upcoming birthday, Glöckler expressed a pragmatic view during a phone conversation. "Turning 60 is a first for me, so I can't predict how I'll feel. However, I believe life is just beginning for me, it's possibly just the half-time of my journey. I plan to celebrate with a grand party at the Scharmützelsee in Brandenburg," he shared.

The Berlin-based designer has created a vast empire, with products ranging from fashion to jewelry, wallpaper, dog bowls, and suitcases. His success can be attributed to his innovative approach to marketing and the use of teleshopping.

Undeterred by the ups and downs of his childhood, Glöckler has penned an autobiography titled "Disastrous to Pompous," detailing his struggles and triumphs. In the book, he recalls his fascination with shiny, glittering objects since childhood and shares heartfelt stories about a challenging upbringing with a difficult father.

Glöckler opened his first store in Stuttgart in 1987 and launched his fashion label "Pompous" in 1990, adding an 'o' to his name. With homes shopping and mass-market fashion, he achieved significant success.

In "My Style Rocks," Glöckler is part of the jury, critiquing contestants’ outfits. However, recent TikTok clips suggest intense on-set drama, such as an altercation where he is shown throwing a contestant’s bag across the studio. These controversial moments have made headlines and generated strong reactions, both positive and negative.

Glöckler seems to thrive on the drama, often discussing it with his fans and encouraging them to enjoy the humor and authenticity in these moments. His unpredictable behavior might have left some contestants and fellow judges perplexed, but it has certainly kept the audience engaged and talking.

As he embarks on the next chapter of his life, Glöckler expresses a simple wish for good health and daily happiness. With around 628,000 followers on Instagram and 248,500 on TikTok, he is eagerly awaited by his ever-growing fan base, from young admirers to older fans who remember him from earlier days.
