Combat Sports Club Hünfeld e.V. (KSC) Celebrates 50 Years with a Fun-Filled Rally
The Combat Sports Club Hünfeld e.V. (KSC) marked its 50th anniversary with a lively rally on a memorable day. The event, held at the Haune Hall, attracted approximately 60 guests, including club officials, local dignitaries, longtime members, athletes, and even some regional sports figures.
The day was filled with games, fun, and action as the KSC rally featured ten stations with sporting challenges. In addition to the physical activities, a quiz was also organised to test participants' brains. To add a touch of creativity, face painting and glitter tattoos were available for attendees.
The celebration began with heartfelt speeches from Gunnar Stiegler, President of the Hessian Ju-Jutsu Association e.V. (HJJV), and Otto Groß, chairman of the friendly Ju-Jutsu Club from Poppenhausen. Both men offered their greetings and congratulations to the KSC on its milestone anniversary.
Mayor Benjamin Tschesnok also joined in the celebrations, offering his congratulations to the club on reaching this significant milestone. The day's proceedings were concluded with awards being handed out by Andreas Scheibelhut, as deputy chairman of the sports circle Fulda-Hünfeld. Vanessa Jansky and Thomas Wiegand were recognised for their long-standing and committed service to the KSC.
The KSC rally aimed to provide a day of play and fun, and it certainly succeeded in doing so. The event was organised as part of the 50th anniversary celebration, with former members and companions of the club, as well as honorary guests, in attendance.
The KSC, whose membership consists of two-thirds children and young people, has come a long way since its inception in 1972. The first chairman of the KSC was Alexander Traud. The club has made a significant impact on the lives of many in the community, fostering a love for combat sports and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
