Hades 2's First Hotfix Addresses Crashes, Improves Stability and Gameplay
Supergiant Games has released the first hotfix for Hades 2, version 1.0. The update, developed by the studio behind the original Hades, addresses various issues and makes several improvements to the game. The hotfix includes several stability improvements, such as fixes for rare crashes and updates to translations in multiple languages. It also enhances compatibility with Chinese Input Method. Additionally, the update addresses narrative scripting issues involving Hecate and a bug that prevented players from exiting the final location in Erebus under certain conditions. One notable change is a nerf to the Phantom (Fields) miniboss. It can no longer drain Life from raised servants after attacking the player when they have used Selene's hex. Other minor fixes include ensuring Olympian Keepsake effects activate again after skipping their Boon and clearing Fated List Prophecies related to Hidden Aspects in specific circumstances. The full patch notes for the hotfix are available, but they contain boss identity spoilers. Unlike previous updates, the hotfix patch notes were not read aloud by Logan Cunningham. This hotfix demonstrates Supergiant's commitment to improving the player experience in Hades 2.
