Here's a twist on the popular German podcast duo! In honor of their 300th episode, Felix Lobrecht (36) and Tommi Schmitt (36) are extending their contract with Spotify, securing their presence on the platform until at least 2027. This renewal sets the stage for an engaging future as the most popular German-speaking podcast now enters its ninth year.

A Content Boost and Year-Round Fun

The contract extension brings exciting developments: Instead of the initial 39 episodes, season updates will now span 40 regular episodes and an additional 12 special episodes per year. Starting in 2026, the podcast will forgo its traditional summer break, transforming "Hacktag" into a year-round event.

Felix Lobrecht feels ecstatic about the deal, stating in a press release, "Gemischtes Hack is my weekly therapy session—an outlet for rants, a space for being wacky, brainstorming, laughing, interacting with fans, and engaging in weekly discussions with a bestie. When so many people want to listen and enjoy it, it’s a real gift!"

Tommi Schmitt echoes this sentiment, exclaiming, "I'm overjoyed that Felix and this phenomenal podcast will stay a part of my life. I've never had so much fun, and I can't wait to keep spreading joy, laughter, or thought-provoking moments to people every week!"
