Haas F1 Unleashes Godzilla-Themed Livery for Japan's 50th Grand Prix

Haas F1 Team has unveiled a striking Godzilla-themed livery for this year's Japanese Grand Prix. The special design was revealed at a live event in Tokyo, marking the race's 50th anniversary. The iconic Suzuka Circuit, known for its high-speed challenges, will host the event once again. The livery launch took place at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, with drivers Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman joining team principal Ayao Komatsu. The design blends Godzilla's fierce aesthetic with the VF-26's usual white, black, and red colour scheme.

The Japanese Grand Prix first ran in 1976 at Fuji Speedway before moving to Suzuka in 1987. The track's demanding layout, featuring legendary corners like the Esses and Spoon, tests both aerodynamics and tyre endurance. Pirelli has selected its hardest compounds to handle the relentless stress on rubber.

Haas's partnership with Toho, the studio behind Godzilla, began in 2016. Over the years, the collaboration has boosted the team's presence in Japan, using the kaiju franchise to attract fans and sell merchandise. This year's livery continues that tradition, reinforcing the bond between motorsport and pop culture. The Godzilla-themed car will race at Suzuka, a circuit that demands precision and confidence from every driver. The event celebrates half a century of Formula 1 in Japan, with Haas and Toho's partnership adding a unique twist to the anniversary. Fans can expect a visually striking weekend on one of the sport's toughest tracks.
