Daughter Lotti Gives 'Let's Dance' Tutoring - Gustav Schäfer and 13 stars battle for Let's Dance 2026 glory in fierce competition

The 19th season of Let's Dance has kicked off with 14 celebrity-pro pairs vying for the 2026 Dancing Star title. Among them, Gustav Schäfer, drummer of Tokio Hotel, is taking part with professional partner Anastasia Maruster. The competition's first live show airs on March 6, where the first elimination will take place.

The season began on February 27 with an introductory show, where one pair already secured a major advantage. Joel Mattli and his partner Malika Dzumaev earned the only 'golden ticket' so far, guaranteeing their place beyond the first elimination round.

Meanwhile, Schäfer has been sharing glimpses of his training on Instagram. A recent video showed him, Maruster, and his daughter Lotti practising a new routine together. The clip highlighted the family's involvement in his preparation for the show.

Early standouts include Anna-Carina Woitschack and Joel Mattli, who impressed judges and viewers during the launch. With the first live episode approaching, the pressure mounts for the remaining contestants to deliver strong performances.

The first elimination on March 6 will narrow the field from 14 to 13 pairs. Mattli and Dzumaev are already safe, while the rest must fight to stay in the competition. The season's outcome will hinge on performances in the weeks ahead.
