Guns N' Roses Break Record for Most Concert Disruptions

The North German town of Wacken played host to a historic performance by rock legends Guns N' Roses during the Wacken Open Air 2025. The iconic band, known for their electrifying live shows, set a new record for the longest show in the festival's history.

Guns N' Roses took to the stage around 8:35 PM and played until just before midnight, treating the audience to an approximately three-hour and ten-minute set. This performance marked the end of their Europe and Middle East tour.

The Wacken Open Air, a significant event in the metal music scene, has been hosting the metal community regularly since 1990. Over the years, it has welcomed a plethora of well-known metal bands, including Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne. This year, the festival also saw performances from the French band Gojira and US rockers Papa Roach.

During their show, Guns N' Roses paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne by performing Black Sabbath classics "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" and "Never Say Die!". Axl Rose, the band's frontman, addressed the crowd, saying, "We're all here because of you."

The Wacken Open Air, situated in the North German Plain, is considered one of the largest heavy metal festivals worldwide. With its rich history and commitment to the metal scene, it continues to draw a dedicated and passionate audience year after year.
