Gunmen commence their summer schedule in Vennhausen
The annual Shooting Festival in Vennhausen, Düsseldorf, took place on May 4th, with Queen Melanie Wuester and Marcus Fuchs leading the proceedings. The Majesties, accompanied by Shooting Chief Herbert Koch, inspected the ranks and took their places in carriages, followed by a grand procession that ended at the church of St. Reinhold on the Gubener Straße.
During the festival, Markus Güldenmeister won the title of Regimental King by shooting down the king's bird at the shooting range. His victory came after defeating Herbert Koch in a fierce competition. Leonie-Sophie Güldenmeister was crowned the new Junior Shooting Queen, and Jana Blättermann was crowned the new Pagen Queen.
The festivities also included musical entertainment from Etienne Eben, Wohnzimmerband Düsseldorf, and Aleks Schmidt. The coronation ball took place on Monday evening.
Friendly shooters from Unterbach, Garath, Gerresheim, Stockum, and Oberbilk participated in the parade, adding to the lively atmosphere of the event. Pagen Queen Amelie Broix, Junior Shooting Queen Johanna Wuester, and Regimental King Marcus Fuchs were the honorees of the festival.
