Heyy there! Let's break down the recent happenings in Tambour-Corps Derendorf.

Gunman with a Musical Background Holds Derendorf Hostage

It ain't all taps, drums, and marches for these guys, pal! Marcus Brisbois, the tambour major, has climbed the ranks and now holds the title of regimental king. That's right, he's the boss man now, leading his band of musicians and whatnot.

But wait, there's more! Dennis Holzhauser, another musician, has taken over as the new youth shooting king. And if that wasn't enough, Jan-Luca, also a tambour corps member, has been crowned as the new squire king. It's a significant achievement, showing that these dudes can do more than just slam right and left on their drums!

Now, before the whole corps is crowned, there were a bunch of events going down at the St. Sebastianus shooting club Derendorf. From the traditional kids' opening of the fair on Friday to the live music and joint dance with Daniela Budde on Saturday, it was one heck of a party.

On Sunday, the Tambour-Corps woke up the regiment at the crack of dawn. Later that day, they marched in star formations to the Spichern Square, where Marcus Brisbois and his gang inspected the ranks of the shooters. A grand parade followed, led by Colonel Jürgen Pagel, and a donation was made to the parents' initiative children's cancer clinic in honor of the king couple Holger and Claudia Jülicher.

The shooting festival in Derendorf concluded on Monday with another parade in honor of the new king couple, Marcus and Katja Brisbois. The crowning of the regimental king and youth shooting king couple took place during the regimental ball, marking the end of the festivities with a grand tattoo, musical fireworks spectacle, and party with DJ Roland.
