Guardians vs Tigers: Game 3 Showdown in Wild Card Series

The Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers are set for a thrilling Game 3 in the Wild Card Series. The Guardians, who staged the biggest comeback in MLB history to win the AL Central, are tied 1-1 with the Tigers after a dramatic regular season.

The series began with the Tigers winning Game 1 2-1, thanks to ace Tarik Skubal's dominant pitching performance. The Guardians, however, bounced back in Game 2, securing a 6-1 victory to even the series. Now, the stage is set for a crucial Game 3.

The starting pitchers for this do-or-die game have been announced. RHP Jack Flaherty will take the mound for the Tigers, while RHP Slade Cecconi will start for the Guardians. Cecconi was chosen over Joey Cantillo for the crucial Game 3 start. The odds for the game have the Tigers as slight favorites (-107) and the Guardians as slight underdogs (-113).
