Kazakhstan's Independence Day is being celebrated with great fervour, as diverse groups of people come together to commemorate the country's freedom from the Soviet Union in 1991. Among those leading the celebrations is Aisulu Yeriniyazova, a prominent volunteer leader in Kazakhstan.

Yeriniyazova, the Chairperson of the League of Volunteers of Kazakhstan, has shared her personal perspective on the holiday. She believes that independence is a deeply cherished national value and that the youth of Kazakhstan understand its significance.

"Independence represents freedom, sovereignty, and the opportunity to build a future distinct from our Soviet past," Yeriniyazova said. "For many young Kazakhstanis, it's a symbol of hope for a better tomorrow."

The League of Volunteers of Kazakhstan plays a crucial role in promoting national pride and engaging young people in civic activities that celebrate and support the country's independence. "We, the youth of Kazakhstan, have a responsibility to safeguard our country's independence and ensure that the lessons of our past are used to build a stronger, more prosperous nation," she said. "We must convey the value of independence to future generations."

Yeriniyazova also expressed gratitude towards Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev for making Kazakhstan independent. "His leadership has been instrumental in shaping our nation and creating a peaceful, harmonious society," she said. "Peace and harmony are the most valuable aspects of Kazakhstan currently."

Celebrations for Kazakhstan's Independence Day are ongoing, with singers, politicians, athletes, artists, and ordinary citizens participating in various events.
