Group consisting of Brooks Koepka, Sergio Garcia, and Tyrrell Hatton has signed up for the Irish Open tournament lineup
Stars Align for Amgen Irish Open and DP World Tour Event
The golfing world is abuzz with excitement as some of the biggest names in the sport prepare to descend upon Ireland for two highly anticipated tournaments. The Amgen Irish Open and the DP World Tour event promise to deliver thrilling action from September 4th to 7th, 2025.
Headlining the field for the Amgen Irish Open at The K Club is none other than Rory McIlroy, the reigning Masters champion and a previous winner at The K Club in 2016. Joining him are a host of other top-tier players, including Shane Lowry, Pádraig Harrington, Séamus Power, Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald, and defending champion Rasmus Højgaard.
Rasmus Højgaard, who broke McIlroy's heart with a late surge to win the DP World Tour event at Royal County Down last year, will be defending his title at The K Club. Another notable participant, Tyrrell Hatton, ranked 24th in the world, is expected to make the Ryder Cup team and will also compete in the Amgen Irish Open.
The DP World Tour event serves as a tune-up for the Ryder Cup, which will be held at Bethpage Black. Joining the ranks are Brooks Koepka, Sergio Garcia, and Tyrrell Hatton, all of whom will also participate in the DP World Tour event. Notably, this is Brooks Koepka's debut at the Amgen Irish Open.
Spectators can secure their tickets for the DP World Tour event in Straffan for €45 on Thursday, €55 on Friday, and €60 on Sunday. The event also features a Celebrity Pro-Am with sports stars like Ronan Maher, Paudie Clifford, David Clifford, and influencer Dearbhla Silke taking part.
Sergio Garcia, a former winner of the Amgen Irish Open, will also be in attendance. Garcia clinched his victory at Druids Glen in 1999. With such a star-studded lineup, these tournaments promise to be among the strongest in recent Amgen Irish Open history.
Rory McIlroy, a past Amgen Irish Open winner, will participate in sports at The K Club, joining other golf stars like Shane Lowry, Pádraig Harrington, and Séamus Power. Additionally, Rasmus Højgaard, who won the DP World Tour event last year, will defend his title in golf at The K Club.
