Wedding Turns Tragic: Groom's Violent Outburst Leaves Bride and Guests Dead
Bangkok - Contrary to expectations, the bride's joyous day turned into a horrifying tragedy. Kanchana Pachunthuek (44) laid lifeless, while the wedding celebration came to an abrupt halt. Her husband, Chaturong Suksuk (29), was the one responsible for this grim turn of events.
The unfortunate incident took place at a party venue located approximately 300 km northeast of Bangkok, Thailand, late on a Saturday night at 11:25 PM.
The night was filled with laughter and merrymaking until the couple reportedly engaged in an argument. Local media reported that Chaturong, who had lost his right leg in a train accident, harbored fear that his wife might leave him for another man due to his disability.
Chaos on the Dance Floor
The argument spiraled out of control, leading Chaturong to retrieve a gun from his car and open fire, states police officer Matichon Wongbaokul. The bride, her mother (62), younger sister (38), and a wedding guest (50) lost their lives as a result.
Chaturong, having executed his violent act, placed the legally obtained gun in his mouth and took his own life.
Upon the arrival of investigators, the lifeless bodies of the victims littered the dance floor. The police confirmed the discovery of eleven spent 9 mm cartridges at the scene.
