Luguentz Dort OVER 2.5 Made 3-Pointers vs. Grizzlies (+130 at FanDuel)
Game Analysis:Memphis Grizzlies vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 7:30 p.m. ET
The Thunder didn't really challenge the Grizzlies in Game 1, with the result practically decided at halftime (Oklahoma City led 68-36). It's safe to say it wasn't much of a contest - more like a thorough spanking on various fronts.
Dort left his mark, though, attempting all eight triples in just 22 minutes and sinking four of them. He almost out-tripled the entire Grizzlies team (six), sharing the spotlight with teammate Aaron Wiggins. Amazingly, it was the eighth time in his last nine games for the Thunder that Dort dropped three or more 3-pointers.
The Grizzlies rank poorly in 3-point defense, giving up a league-worst 14.9 made triples per game (23rd), attempting 39.2 (24th), and maintaining a dismal efficiency of 37.9% (26th). These woes carried over into this series' opening matchup. Dort will take advantage of these weaknesses, especially at home where he put up 2.9 outside makes at an impressive 44.6% clip in the 2024-25 season.
Zach Edey OVER 11.5 Rebounds vs. Thunder (+108 at FanDuel)
Game Analysis:Memphis Grizzlies vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 7:30 p.m. ET
The bandwagon for the talented Zach Edey keeps cruising, but it could have taken a minor detour in Game 1 when he only recorded nine boards in just 20 minutes of action. It was the second time since Jenkins was ousted that Edey failed to eclipse double-digit boards, but he saw fewer minutes than usual.
There were no other Grizzlies starters who managed more than three rebounds, and with the Thunder's sturdy frontcourt combo of Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein combining for 18 boards, Edey will need to stick around on the floor due to necessity's cold, hard hand.
Exclude those two nine-rebound games from the mix, and Edey has exceeded 11.5 rebounds in every other outing under new head coach Tuomas Lisalo. If he'd played just a few more minutes in Game 1, he likely would have surpassed this number even earlier!
