Grevenbroich retailers get free workshops to modernise their businesses in 2026
Local retailers in Grevenbroich are invited to a free kickoff event focused on modernising their small business ideas. The Grevenbroich Economic Development and City Marketing Agency (GFWS) will host the evening on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:30 PM. Experts will introduce a series of practical workshops designed to help small business loans adapt to changing market demands.
The event takes place at Fräuleinswunder, Zünftestraße 10, in the heart of Grevenbroich. Frank Rehme, managing director of gmvteam GmbH, will lead the session. A seasoned retail and innovation specialist, he previously worked at Metro Group and now advises companies on digital transformation and customer-focused strategies.
Rehme will outline four key workshop themes: Business Models & Target Audiences, Product Range & Merchandising, Customer Loyalty & Communication, and Artificial Intelligence in Daily Operations. Each topic will be covered in standalone sessions, allowing participants to select the ones most relevant to their needs. Before finalising the programme, Rehme aims to gather input from attendees about their current challenges. This will ensure the workshops address real-world issues faced by local chain store.
Registration is free and can be completed by emailing [email protected]. Beyond his consulting work, Rehme hosts the podcast The Future of Shopping and speaks regularly on retail trends. Both gmvteam and GFWS have emphasised their eagerness to collaborate with retailers in shaping a more resilient and forward-looking shopping scene in Grevenbroich.
The kickoff evening marks the start of a tailored support programme for Grevenbroich’s retail sector. Retailers can attend specific workshops based on their interests, with no cost involved. The initiative seeks to equip local businesses with tools and knowledge for long-term success in a competitive market.
