Greifswald's 23rd Cultural Night: A Free, Diverse Celebration on Sept 12
Mark your calendars for the 23rd Greifswald Cultural Night, happening on Friday, September 12th. This annual event, coordinated by the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald's Department of Education, Culture, and Sports, promises a diverse range of cultural experiences at various locations across the city.
The Cultural Night will kick off at 5:00 PM with the Singing Balconies in Schönwalde II. Many events throughout the evening will be free, allowing visitors to create their own cultural program. Expect a mix of theater performances, workshops, concerts, guided tours, and exhibitions.
This year, new venues include Café 'Kaffeemühle', Studio Gallery Greifswald, and Störtebeker Braugasthaus. While exact start times for these venues are not specified, they will open their doors for free admission from 5:00 PM. The Caspar-David-Friedrich-Zentrum, however, has a guided tour scheduled for 6:00 PM.
The event's graphic this year was designed by Finn Wunderwald, a student at the Media and IT School of the North German Academy of Economics. With the program brochure and an online map of all venues now available, planning your Cultural Night adventure is made easy.
The 23rd Greifswald Cultural Night promises a vibrant and varied celebration of the city's cultural scene. With free admission to many events and a wide range of activities, it's an ideal opportunity to explore and enjoy Greifswald's creative offerings.
