The Packers responded swiftly, with Romeo Doubs scoring a five-yard touchdown, giving Green Bay a 7-3 lead. The home team continued to dominate, extending their lead to 14-3 at halftime, thanks to a 22-yard field goal and a two-yard touchdown run by Josh Jacobs.
The second half saw a more competitive Commanders team, with Matt Gay kicking a 51-yard field goal to put Washington on the scoreboard for the first time. However, the Packers managed to maintain their advantage, with Tucker Kraft catching an 8-yard touchdown pass, increasing Green Bay's lead to 24-10.
