The National Meteorological Service (EMY) has issued weather warnings for Greece, urging residents to prepare for stormy conditions and possible travel disruptions. The service predicts a wetter-than-usual November, with heavy rains and strong storms expected in several regions of Greece.

EMY forecasts mild temperatures around 20°C in Athens, accompanied by increased rainfall and wind. Starting Monday, heavy rains and strong storms are expected in western, central, and northern Greece, including Thessaly, Epirus, western Macedonia, and the Ionian Islands. Citizens in Lavrio, where a balcony collapse due to severe weather was reported, should brace for strong storms. EMY advises securing property against potential flooding and staying updated on forecasts as the stormy conditions are expected to last through midweek.
