On June 11, Anatoly Gunkisky, renowned Russian poet, musician, and co-founder of influential rock band "Aquarium," will be laid to rest in the central hall of the crematorium in St. Petersburg. This news was shared on Facebook by Boris Grebenshchikov, a renowned musician and acquaintance of Gunkisky, who is recognized as a foreign agent by the Russian Ministry of Justice.

The ceremony will commence at 11:45, with the wake to follow at 14:00. The wake will take place at Fish Fabrique Bar, located at Ligovsky, 53, as per Grebenshchikov's announcement. The crematorium in St. Petersburg can be found at Shafirovsky Prospekt, 12.

Gunkisky's demise occurred at the age of 71, following reports of his ill health on June 4 by Grebenshchikov. Later, TASS reported that he passed away due to cancer, citing sources close to the musician's circle.

Affectionately known as George, Gunkisky was also recognized as "The Old Rocker." He was born in 1953 and established "Aquarium" with Grebenshchikov in 1972. After departing the musical collective in 1975, he penned lyrics for many songs, including "Fifteen Naked Women," "March," "Hierophant," and "To Friends."

Following his departure from "Aquarium," Gunkisky focused on theater and journalism.
