It's a fresh chapter for Düsseldorf EG as sports manager and former player, Alexander Barta, bids farewell to the Rhine-side club. The DEG will compete in DEL2 next season following their relegation.
"A fresh start was desired in multiple sports-related positions, including the sports manager who oversees the team's processes," stated Managing Director Rick Amann. Last Sunday, the DEG announced the hiring of Rich Chernomaz as their new coach.
